The Literary Classics Online Book Club is specially tailored for people who enjoy reading and talking about classic literature. Each year, we will select six classic books to read and discuss. Throughout each book’s first month, participants can read the book and we will also post fun and interesting facts about that literary classic on the club’s social media outlets, including Facebook, Twitter and our blog. The second month we will post discussion questions for participants to read and comment on.

There’s also an opportunity for participants to register their library into a drawing for a classics audiobook collection, worth $1,000! To enter, patrons simply participate in the book discussions and enter their username and library information. Drawings will be held at the end of the discussion months! Click here for more details on how your patrons can enter.

The club is completely unbranded so you can make it your own. And it’s completely free! All books will be selected from our free classics collection on OneClickdigital, with each book available to libraries in both eBook and eAudio formats. These titles are all multi-access, so patrons will have ready access to them.

Spread the word about this book club with materials that include posters, bookmarks, shelf talkers, web buttons, social media banners, and more. Under the Promotional Materials tab on the TLCOBC blog, just click on the link to download and print any of the materials for free!
