Man Booker Dozen

The longlist, or 'Man Booker Dozen', for the 2016 Man Booker Prize for Fiction was announced yesterday. Recorded Books is thrilled to be the audio publisher for one of this year's longlisted titles, Eileen by Ottessa Moshfegh

One of four debut novels on the longlist, Eileen by Ottessa Moshfegh is the story of a lonely young woman working in a boys’ prison outside Boston in the early 60s who is pulled into a very strange crime.

This year's longlist of 13 books was chosen from 155 submissions. Click here to see the full 2016 longlist. 

The shortlist of six books will be announced on Tuesday, September 13 at a press conference at the London offices of Man Group, the prize’s sponsor. The shortlisted authors will each receive £2,500 and a specially bound edition of their book.
