How do I search?
Searches may be performed using the quick search located on the
left hand side of the home page, or using the advanced search.
The quick search allows you to select from the following categories;
title, author, narrator, product id, or keyword. The product id is the
first five alphanumeric characters listed in a catalog. Valid product IDs
include 97119, A2263, and C1693. Searching for a keyword will search
product titles, subtitles, descriptions, series names and imprint names.
The advanced search is available by clicking the "Advanced Search" link at
the top of the page, or under the quick search. The advanced search will
allow you to search using multiple criteria such as products with titles
including the word "Cat", author name like "Lilian", narrator name like
"George", that are audiobooks, and available as cassettes. Selecting the
"Check For Alternative Spellings" will broaden the search to include words
that may sound like what you've entered but not necessarily be spelled
exactly the same. For example, searching for author "Lillian" with the "Check for
Alternative Spellings" box next to author checked will return books including
those by Lilian Jackson Braun. Go to the
Advanced Search now.

Recorded Books has created groups of audiobooks designed
to showcase particular characteristics of the books subject matter, author, or narrator.
The Clipper imprint, for example, offers the best in British authors and
narrators while the Griot Audio showcases the best in contemporary African-American
writing. Recorded Books Inspirational highlights uplifting works that refresh the spirit while
Romantic Sounds Audio offers dramatic tales that will sweep you off your feet.
How can I update my personal information?
You can update your personal information at anytime by clicking on the "My Account" link, located at the top of every page of the website, logging on with your Recorded Books Unlimited customer number or username and password, and making any necessary changes.
How do I view my Wish List?
Go to www.recordedbooks.com. Select the "Direct to Consumer" icon from our home page. Click on "My Account" which
is located in the upper right-hand corner of the page. Log on using your Customer ID and password. Click on the
"View Wishlist" icon located in the middle of the page.
How do I add a title to my Wish List?
Locate the drop down in the upper left-hand corner of the page; you will see the word "Keyword." Click on the arrow
to view your search options. Select "Title."
Enter the title name in the box located just to the right. If the title is available, it will be displayed. Click
on either the title or the image. Click on "Add to Wishlist" which is located under the pricing information. Your
selection will then be added to your wish list. To add more titles to your wish list, repeat these steps.
How do I prioritize my Wish List?
Using the "Priority" column, click on the number beside the title you wish to prioritize. In the window that pops up,
change the number to the desired priority for that title-"1" is highest priority. Click "Set Priority," and the book
is prioritized. Recorded Books will ship the book with the highest priority that is in stock and available to ship.
How do Saved Carts Work?
Saving a cart will put the current contents of the shopping cart into a saved cart that is available
for retrieval under 'My Account'. This cart will be available for 120 days. When you retrieve a saved
cart, the contents will be added to any existing contents of your shopping cart.
