Here we meet Con Somerford One of the three Georges. This is not a sequel to the The Devil’s Heiress but it is a prequel. If you like Jo Beverly’s a Company of Rogues this is a recommended listening. I the I read the book and then purchased the audiobook it is so much better that just reading, more emotion and more understanding of Con and Susan’s heartache. You find out about Con’s Dragon tatoo and the other Georges. I would give it a 4 1/2 star if I could. Narration great. You don’t know what will happen until the end and I will not spoil if for you but it is really excellent. - Reviewer from Selma, AL.
