The Breathing Method

DescriptionMcCarron, old and dry and leathery, sat in the huge chair by the fire. The flames seemed particularly wild that night, hypnotizing, as the cavemen were hypnotized by it as the wind walked and talked outside their cold northern caves. At last, still looking into the fire, bent slightly forward so that his forearms rested on his thigh and his clasped hands hung in a knot between his knees, McCarron began to tell his story.

Masterpiece of audiobook narration
(Review of The Breathing Method)
One of my favorite Stephen King novellas brought wonderfully to life by Frank Mullers narration. An intriguing and sometimes chilling story about a surreal gentlemans club, whos motto is: "It is the tale, not he who tells it." Franks narration is masterful... its as though you are hearing the story directly from the lips of the main character himself. Truly one of my favorite audiobooks not only for the story, but for the quality of narration. The story and narrator are perfectly matched here. Highly recommended. - Reviewer from St. Louis, Missouri
