Anne Flosnik

Anne Flosnik is an accomplished British-born actress of Irish parentage. She has lead credits for performances in stage, television, commercials and voiceovers, and hundreds of audiobooks in many genres. She began her audiobook narration career in 1996 with narrations for the Library of Congress Talking Book Program.

Anne’s narrations span the globe and display her mastery of accents, age ranges, and pronunciation, including performances such as Anna and the King of Siam (the story that The King and I is based on), Running with the Bulls, My Years with the Hemmingways, and The Vanishing Act of Esme Lennox. Anne’s “remarkable adroitness with accents” is noted in AudioFile’s review of Beautiful Assassin by Michael White, and in her career-changing narration of Chris Cleave’s Little Bee, which was chosen as one of the “Best Audiobooks of the Year” by AudioFile and one of the “Top 40 Best Audiobooks of 2009” by Library Journal.

Anne has garnered three AudioFile Earphones Awards, an ALA Award, and four Audie nominations. “Anne Flosnik’s narration is superb, as are her characterizations of major and minor British characters, which are so good they give the sense of multiple narrators” (AudioFile on Lyon’s Gate by Catherine Coulter).

Anne's love of the written word is palpable in her narrations, and she extends herself fully in service of everything she works on, bringing to life the author’s intent.
