Celeste Ciulla

Celeste Ciulla (choo-la) is a Sicilian, German, Welsh, Ojibwa, native New Yorker who has recorded, either solely or as an ensemble, over 50 titles with Recorded Books, including the award-winning Great House by Nicole Krauss.

Other teams she has happily been a part of include the Pearl Theatre Company, winning her a Joe A. Callaway Award for She Stoops to Conquer; the Old Globe Summer Repertory Theatre, winning her a fellowship at Ten Chimneys; and coproductions between the Cincinnati Playhouse and Saint Louis Repertory Theatre, winning her and her cast an Acclaim Award for Over the Tavern.

When she is not in the recording studio or on stages all over the country, she is likely to be cater-waitering, running in Central Park, or climbing a rock wall, artificial or otherwise.

Celeste is a graduate of Northwestern and Harvard Universities and a proud member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA.  Learn more about Celeste at www.celesteciullla.com.
