Tim Gerard Reynolds

Tim Gerard Reynolds was trained at the Samuel Beckett Centre for Theatre and Drama Studies, Trinity College, Dublin, and at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, New London, Connecticut. His theater work has taken him from the Abbey Theatre Dublin to the London Fringe to the Avignon Theatre Festival to regional US theater and on and Off-Broadway.

To date, Tim has received multiple AudioFile Earphones Awards, as well as Audie and Voice Arts Awards nominations. He was named among AudioFile’s top narrators of the year for 2014, 2015, and 2016. In 2016, three books he narrated were among the highest grossing audiobooks in the country.

The influential Fantasy & Sci-Fi forum on Reddit.com (r/fantasy) awarded him a coveted “Stabby Award” for 2016, voted up by fans of the genre for “Best Related Content.” The Stabby is an actual, engraved dagger!

Tim studied for a BFA in fine art at the School of Visual Arts, and he likes to paint and make relief prints in his spare time. He is also an avid thru-hiker and enjoys reckless adventuring with pals in the great American wildernesses.

Tim is also known by his Dharma name, KanShō, as he is an ordained senior student of Roshi Pat Enkyo O’Hara at Dotokuji, the Village Zendo, a traditional Soto Zen Buddhist temple in the heart of downtown Manhattan.

Tim and his wife recently swapped out the hubbub of the East Village for the leaf blowers and weed whackers of a nondescript New York suburb. They live in comfortable anonymity with a white rabbit called Father Ted and a tuxedo cat with the unpronounceable Irish name Caiomhe.
