"Moore has done it again--another excellent reading job. She is terrific as the clueless mother in this story about an 8-year-old girl mourning her friend's moving away. She is good as the lead part, sounding a bit older than 8 but close enough to convey the poor girl's angst at facing fourth grade without her beloved soulmate. College-age brother is the only one sympathetic to her plight, sounding a bit gruff but understanding, even volunteering to help look for her treasure, the scab from her friend's knee. Anyone who's lived through fourth grade will relate to this one. A.G.H. (c) AudioFile 2002, Portland, Maine"
