Cam enjoys helping her friend Eric look for interesting things to take pictures of for the Junior News Photography Contest, but she doesn't need a camera to capture the scenes she wants to remember. She simply keeps important pictures in her mind. When Cam and Eric spot some strange lights in the sky, they think they have proof of U.F.O.s. But there's something fishy about this alien adventure. Using Eric's camera and Cam's photographic memory, the two young detectives set out to learn the truth.

"Child-detective Cam Jansen (a fearless girl with a photographic memory) faces a new challenge: Are the strange lights she and friend Eric spot really U.F.O.s, or is there another explanation? Christina Moore has done a great job narrating the Cam Jansen series, and this story is no exception. She gives Cam and Eric their own distinct and likable personalities; other incidental characters are as skillfully drawn. Moore's straightforward reading creates a grounded story line onto which she projects a genuine atmosphere of suspense. Young sleuths will listen carefully, collecting clues that will lead to a satisfying answer. J.C.G. (c) AudioFile 2006, Portland, Maine"
