This is a true story about a little girl, Hana Brady, who was killed at Auschwitz. Her suitcase came to be a part of the Tokyo Holocaust Education Resource Center. Fumiko Ishioka, the director of the center, acquires Hana's suitcase and tells Hana's story to Japanese children. This book is based on a radio documentary Karen Levine did in Canada.
