"Cam Jansen is a 10-year-old sleuth with a photographic memory--click!--that helps her record clues and crime scenes for later reviewing. When Cam and her best friend, Eric, attend a Monster Movie, they rely on Cam's talent to discover why the second reel of the movie is missing. Christina Moore has done an excellent job narrating this series; her characters are nicely differentiated, and Cam's voice is especially well done--it's a treat to have a girl character whose voice is not high-pitched and overly girlish, and whose best friend is a guy. Moore gauges emotions wisely, creates believable characters, and pitches the action to create suspense without too much hype. J.C.G. (c) AudioFile 2005, Portland, Maine"
